Access info

Once you have researched the who, what and when of your genealogy, it can be difficult to know how to begin narrating your unique story. In this two-hour workshop, Jonathan Butler will share research tips, writing strategies and creative thinking tools to help you bring your family history to life.

Jonathan Butler is the author of The Boy in the Dress (Affirm Press, 2022). Researching his ancestor's story ignited his passion for queer history, with his writing subsequently appearing in The Guardian, ArtsHub and Meanjin magazine.
