Creswick Brass Band

Creswick Brass Band, known as “The Happy Band from the Central Highlands,” has
deep roots in Creswick’s history, dating back to the 1860s. The band performs a
variety of music from traditional marches and hymns to singalongs and toe-tapping
favourites. The band play at a variety of local events including Clunes Booktown,
CresFest, ANZAC Day, Ballarat Marathon, Ballarat Heritage Festival.

The band also competes at a state and national level. Creswick Brass Band remains a vital part of
the community, offering tuition, instrument hire, and a welcoming space for all who
want to play.
